My Mission

Mental health is incredibly important to one's wellbeing, but all too often it is overlooked. Mental illness continues to rise year after year, with an alarming percentage remaining untreated. Many people out there are suffering, and sometimes it can be hidden so well that nobody knows otherwise. That is why it is crucial for me to emphasize to each person how important they really are. If there is only one takeaway, let it be this:

You matter.

You can make a difference.

With every order, I strive to not only make you happy with my products, but more importantly to work together with you to make an impact in our world by taking part in a few great initiatives.

How you make the world a better place with each order

  • Non-profit donations

    For every single order, I will be donating 10% of the funds to select non-profit organizations. See down below for more specifics on the organizations I'm currently supporting :)

  • Planting new trees

    For every $7 spent, a new tree will be planted through Sprout. This means that you will help repopulate a forest with two trees with every candle purchased. That's pretty cool :)

  • Carbon Neutral Delivery

    Every order will be sent out carbon neutral, meaning the estimated carbon emissions for both the manufacturing and delivery will be offset by me.

Video games as an escape

Whether intentional or not, some people use video games as a way to get away from whatever troubles they're currently facing. These games serve as their happy place, their ideal way to relax and decompress. I sincerely hope my candles reach these people, sending constant reminders of their happy place and transporting them there. For those brief moments, whatever negative feelings that life brings could be replaced by joy and serenity, and that is a powerful motivator for me personally with my business.

    This nonprofit provides 24/7 mental health support and crisis intervention. They also have a huge collection of resources to help with various types of abuse, bullying, anxiety, depression, isolation, and much more.

Sustainable Packaging

Sustainability is very important to me, and I am trying to be as environmentally responsible as possible. My shipping and packaging materials are sourced from EcoEnclose, which is my favorite resource for anything sustainability related. (Seriously, check out their blog - it's great).

Whenever possible, I will prioritize reusing packaging that I receive to give it new life, first and foremost. This could lead to non-pretty packaging, and for that I apologize. This is just a step I'm taking to be kind to the environment, and I hope you can appreciate that :)
